Disturbed by the large number of Nigerians without access to safe drinking water, the House of Representatives Committee on Water Resources has called on the Federal Government to give priority to the provision of potable water in the country as it is currently doing for electricity supply even as the committee makes case for accessibility of potable water for pupils and students during school hours
Besides, the committee says the Basin Authorities and contractors must ensure that quality materials are used for the construction of water dams across the nation.
