Evacuation of Igbos From North Begins as 150 Persons Arrive Enugu

Following the recent calls on Easterners living in the north to return home over the activities of the dreaded Islamic Sect, Boko Haram, over 150 Igbo citizens arrived Enugu from Maiduguri, Borno State yesterday.?

The returnees arrived the 9th Mile Corner Enugu in the early hours with free luxury buses provided by Igboville, a number one Igbo social network.

Igboville, a group made up of Igbo professionals in Nigeria and Diaspora arranged the free buses to evacuate Igbos stranded in Maiduguri, Borno state and other Northern States.

Many of them who spoke to newsmen, claimed they relocated to the bush for many days until they got hint of the free buses.
