The group's position was contained in a communique jointly signed by its National Secretary, Mr Prince Obande, and Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Brnin Kebbi on Monday.???

The group also observed that handling of sensitive and non sensitive materials were well coordinated as they were delivered to all the polling units on schedule, thus enhancing the smooth accreditation of voters.?

“This re-run election was in line with acceptable electoral procedures as cases of ballot stuffing and snatching was absent.

“But we advise INEC to include more NGOs and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to ensure larger participation in future elections.”

The group commended the security arrangement that was properly put in place as no cases of intimidation were recorded.?

“The conduct of security personnel such as the Police, soldiers, NDLEA, NSCDC, FRSC, Immigration, Customs and Prison Services Officials were friendly to voters.”

However, the coalition observed that the locations of polling units by INEC were not convenient to voters as they had to trek several distances to cast their ballots.???

The group expressed its determination to sustain the counsel to INEC with a view to improving the electoral process for successful future elections.?
