Osita Okechukwu, the
governorship candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC),
has said that zoning guarantees the Igbo ethnic group will produce a
President in 2015.
Addressing polling
agents of his party on Monday at Amechi Awkunanaw, an Enugu suburb, Mr
Okechukwu said“Zoning is the best for the country under the political
scenario we have found ourselves.
“It offers a golden
opportunity for ethnic groups, like Ndigbo, the guarantee to become the
president of the country one day; indeed in 2015.
Mr. Okechukwu congratulated the Igbo Political Forum and the Northern
Political Leadership Forum for reinventing the old strategic alliance
between the North and the South-East.
