Why I Insisted On DNA Test For Aisha’s Child – Audu

Former Kogi State governor, Prince Abubakar Audu has opened up on why he wanted a DNA test to be conducted on the child of her enstranged wife and former first lady, Mrs. Aisha Audu, and said he did not trust her..

A DNA test conducted had indicated that the baby, Ramatu Naimaah Audu, was not fathered by the former governor.

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Mr. Abraham Akogu, Audu said he felt his image must not be compromised.

He noted that his reputation which he “built all over the years cannot be sacrificed on the altar of cheap blackmail by a greedy woman who mischief is her trademark.”

The name Audu, he added, symbolised an embodiment of success in virtually all ramifications, particularly in public service, where he had the opportunity to serve.

Akogu said,“Audu is an asset to this country and therefore could not watch and allow his image tarnished by Aisha who has done everything possible within her reach to rubbish him. But thank God all her efforts have failed, particularly with this unfolding embarrassment.”
