Pregnant Woman Dies After Losing N7000 To Pick Pockets

A middle aged woman, Mrs. Rashidat Odusanya,last Monday at about 3pm fainted and died along Alli-Balogun T-Junction via Nnamdi Azikwe street,Lagos Island after she discovered that her wallet containing N7000 was stolen by hoodlums suspected to be pick pockets.

The stolen wallet and its content, according to the family source, was given to expectant mother by her husband, Mr.Odusanya to stockpile few essential items.

Late Rashidat Odusanya,who until her death was residing in Badagry, outskirts of Lagos state reportedly arrived Lagos island in a public bus through the ever busy Idumota and headed straight to some Business District Centres that took her through Ereko, Martins streets before she decided to make a detour at Alli-Balogun street.

Apparently unaware that the wallet and the contents was missing, she reportedly stopped to buy a sachet of water to assuage the thirst only to discover that the wallet had vanished.

Eyewitnesses told our reporter that the light complexioned woman became restless and started screaming for help. Not quite long, she got whirled down, fainted and died.

The corpse of the woman was first taken to Adeniji Adele Police Station,Lagos Island for record purpose in a ash coloured out model Volvo with registered No BG 527 GGE.
