While First Bank Nigeria Plc got the Most Innovative Bank of the Year award, Stanbic IBTC Bank carted away the Deal of the Year award.

Another bank, Standard Bank Group of South Africa won the African Bank of the Year award.
Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI), Evelyn Oputu, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. By this, she becomes the first woman in Africa to be so honoured with ?this most coveted award in financial circles.
