Oritsejafor To Lead Global Prayer Against Kidnapping

About 1,500 clerics from over 20 countries will next week converge in Benin City, Edo State capital to address spiritually the worrisome issues relating to terrorism, kidnapping, assassinations, armed robberies and other violent crimes ravaging some parts of the country.

The special prayer programme which will be led by the National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor will hold at the headquarters of the Gospel Light International Ministries (GLIM) – New Covenant Gospel Church (N.C. G. C.), Benin City.

The special prayer event would be part of the one week (October 23 – 30, 2011) Bible Alive Believers International Convention (BABIC) organised by the Gospel Light International Ministries – New Covenant Gospel Church.

Besides, the 1, 500 Christian Clerics would be joining their faith with that of over 100, 000 other Christians who will be participating in the one week? event to pray for the spiritual, political, security, economic and social well-being of Nigeria.

According to the General Superintendent of the New Covenant Gospel Church, Dr. Felix Omobude, the church’s annual convention with the theme, “The Transformed Life” will also draw Christian delegates from across over 30 countries in Africa, Europe, America, amongst others.
