The director-general of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Prof. Longmas Wapmuk has been selected as the winner of the Rotary Club of Abuja Gwarinpa’s prestigious Excellence in Vocational Service Award.
A letter from the Club notifying Wapmuk of the award noted that it was in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of vocational skills development in Nigeria in his capacity as ITF boss.
According to the letter: “The award committee specifically scored you high on the establishment of the Nigeria/Singapore Model Skills Training Centre and saw the centre as one capable of boosting the skills of Nigeria’s youths for greater competitiveness.
