The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr.Akinwunmi Adesina said that the federal government has concluded arrangement to stop further procurement and distribution of subsidised fertilisers in a determined move to eliminate inherent corruption in the system.
Dr Adesina, who disclosed this in Oke-Ila, Osun State at a lecture to mark the fifth year coronation anniversary of the paramount ruler ,Oba Adedokun Abolarin,Aroyinkeye 1, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, noted that purchasing and distributing of the essential farming input had engendered deep-rooted corruption and deprived authentic farmers from getting the product.
