Gov. Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi State yesterday presented a budget proposal of N97.9 billion for the 2012 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly in Kebbi.
The N97.9 billion budget estimate is N6.4 billion higher than the 2011 budget of N91.5 billion.
Dakingari said the budget was made up of N36.9 billion recurrent expenditure and N61.2 billion for capital expenditure.
He said the state government was expecting N4 billion from internally generated revenue (IGR), N35 billion from statutory allocation from federation account as against N7.5 billion from VAT billion and N4 billion from deposit balance.
