The National Campaign Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2012 gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State, under the chairmanship of Vice President Namadi Sambo, has said that it postponed the party’s campaign take-off in the state because of the tragic bomb attacks in Kano last Friday.
While a new date is being awaited for the rally, which was supposed to take place today at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, the party said it was saddened by the turn of events, and condoled with the families of the blast victims, the president and the governor of Kano State.
