Ogun State Government has said that notwithstanding its aggressive drive to attract investors, it would not fold its arm and allow the operations of such investors to put the welfare of residents of the State in jeopardy.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr Taiwo Fagbemi, made this assertion in Abeokuta, while briefing newsmen on the findings and resolutions over matters affecting Iwaye and Ogbere Communities in Ijebu North East and Ijebu East respectively, saying that, Government would? take steps to enhance their living standard.
According to the Information Officer in the office of the Special Adviser, Adeyinka Richard, the two communities were reported to have been disturbed by flying rocks, resulting from the operations of some quarry companies in the communities.
