The Niger State Government has said?? that before the rains set in, it will rally 250,000 farmers for the first phase of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) of the federal government.
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs Suzan Gana announced this yesterday in Minna at a one-day sensitisation workshop organised by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
She pledged the commitment of the state government to the success of ATA by delivering fertiliser and seed requirements directly to farmers
