Don’t Go To Supreme Court, Ekiti AG Advises Oni

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Mr. Dayo Adelaja yesterday advised the former governor of Ekiti State, Mr Segun Oni and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to challenge at the Supreme Court the ruling of a Court of Appeal in Ado Ekiti, that dismissed their application.

The Appellate Court on Monday dismissed Oni’s application, seeking the review of the judgment which removed him from office as the Chief Executive Officer of Ekiti State in October 15, 2010 for lack of merit.

Akinlaja who spoke against the backdrop of the Court of Appeal ruling said the proposed plan to challenge the striking out of their case would collapse in the face of the law at the apex court.
