The Ministry of Water Resources says it has put in place water sector roadmap in line with the transformation agenda of the Federal government.
Specifically,the roadmap was meant to ensure that water reaches all communities in the country,and that women have access to it.
Minister of Water Resources,Mrs.Sarah Reng Ochekpe disclosed this in Lagos on Monday at the launch of ECOWAS Federation of Business Women Entrepreneurs Nigeria(FEBWE).. She said Ministry is building dams,constructing new boreholes as well as reconstructing and revamping abandoned water projects in the country.
''In collaboration with some development partners,we have also fast tracked our efforts at improving water quality and sanitation.
