Widower May Sue FRSC Over Late Wife’s Benefits

A 65-year old widower has threatened to take legal action to compel the Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) to pay his late wife’s death benefits.

Mr. Abraham Agwo, was the husband of late Mrs. Matilda N Agwo (nee Uzowuru), an FRSC officer who died in active service on January 31, last year.

He alleged that the commission was demanding a prior payment of two percent of whatever benefits that accrued to his late wife before they could commence the processing of her entitlements.
