The United Kingdom has said that it is committed to the fight against terrorism by the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram and several other terrorist organizations across the world.
The Head of Political Section, British High Commission in Nigeria, Mr. Paul Edwards disclosed this yesterday when he visited the governorship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Rivers State,? Dr. Abiye Sekibo in Port Harcourt.
Edwards said: “The British government condemns terrorism wherever it occurs in the world and we have strongly condemned what is currently going on in the Northern part of Nigeria. There is no place for terrorism in modern nations.
