Civil Defence Arrests Five For Raping Teenage Girls

Operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, have arrested five people in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state for allegedly raping two teenage girls.

The Public Relations Officer of the corps, Mr. Adimba Paul who disclosed this while parading the suspects before newsmen said the suspects were security guards working with Universal Basic Education Board at the local government and were within the age bracket of 40-45 years.

Mr. Adimba stated that the suspects had allegedly induced the teenage school girls after closing from school with money and defiled them.?

The suspects name were given as – Moh’d Danbulkaka, Abubakara Jauro, Garba Moh’d, Danjuma Moh’d and Bala Ibrahim.

The Corps PRO also said the Corps has arrested another suspect, Badamasi Sa’idu for allegedly stealing a motorcycle at Wunti Market after receiving an intelligence report.

He disclosed that all the suspects have confessed to their offences after a thorough investigation and assured that would soon be prosecuted according to the law.

He warned parents and guardians in the state to monitor the movement of their children, so as to prevent them from becoming victims to nefarious activities in the state.
