Buhari Blames Country’s Woes On Leadership Failure

Former Military Head of State and presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in the 2011 general election, General Muhammadu Buhari,? has blamed the country’s woes on leaders that have ruled the country over the years.

Buhari, who promised to carry the masses along, said the problems of the country were? caused by religious bigotry and hypocrisy on the part of Nigerians.

Speaking in Kaduna yesterday when he received the executive members and supporters of the party from Igabi Local Government of Kaduna State, Buhari? thanked God for his good health.

He said,? “I want to thank God who has given me good health, I tell you the truth, I am not going to abandon the masses and by the grace of God, when the convention of CPC takes place, the party would choose right candidate to run for the 2015 presidential elections.

“The problems of this country are about religious bigotry, hypocrisy and corruption in high places. The people that serve this country have succeeded in destroying the country.

“I think Nigerians should emulate the people of Igabi local government for their? believe in vote and protect your vote. People should take their destiny in their hands by protecting their votes.

The group, led by the publisher of Liberator Newspapers, Engr. Kahlaini Muhammad, appealed to Buhari to contest for the 2015 general election, adding that despite repeated disappointment, the General should continue to try until he wins election.
