Minister Berates Oshiomhole Over Road Projects In Edo

Minister of State for Works, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda yesterday berated Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole over? the governor’s claim that Adokere-Ukoni-Aimedokhian,Awo, Ugboha road contract awarded by the federal government in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area does not exist.

????? The State Governor? had in one of his campaign rallies ahead of the July 14th governorship election in the State accused the Minister of Works, Arch. Mark Onolememen of diverting the N2.6billion worth of contract of a non existing road to his private pocket.

???? Ambassador Bashir who led a high powered delegate on first hand assessment of the road project? said the federal executive council under President Goodluck Jonathan cannot afford to award a non existing contract.

‘’For anybody to say that the federal executive council awarded a non existing road contract is most ridiculous. If Edo State governor has forgotten his people, President Goodluck Jonathan has not forgotten them, he is the President of all Nigerians regardless of their tribe, language and state. A lot of the good things embarked upon by the federal government are happening in Edo State.
