Niger Delta Youths Condemn Attacks On FCT Minister

Niger Delta Youths, under the auspices of League of Niger Delta Activists (LNDYA), have strongly condemned the campaign of calumny against the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed by “some disgruntled politicians” from his home state, Bauchi.

This was contained in a statement signed by the president of the group, Prince Ajulisan Akumagba and made available to LEADERSHIP in Abuja, yesterday.

The group in the statement described the attacks, which it noted was from a few politicians in the minister’s home state as diversionary, and aimed at distracting him from the good works he was doing in the nation’s capital.

LNDYA described the Mohammed as a detribalised Nigerian and a true nationalist figure who had consistently shown that he truly loves Nigeria, observing that he had continued to work for the unity and peace of the peoples of Nigeria irrespective of diverse religious, ethnic and political inclinations.

Furthermore, it challenged those hiding under obscure groups to attack the minister and perpetrate falsehood against him, his aides and relatives to practically explain the yardstick and basis for their evidently biased assessment and appraisal of the minister’s tenure.

While commending the minister over his landmark achievements since he assumed office over two years ago, the Niger Delta youth activists advised all well meaning Nigerians to ignore the false reports being peddled in some online sites by the blackmailers purporting that there were huge land scams in FCT involving some relatives and aides of the Minister.
