Ribadu Visits Bombed Churches In Kaduna, Sues For Peace

Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and the 2011 presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), yesterday paid a sympathy and solidarity visit to the three churches bombed early last month.

A penultimate Sunday many worshippers had died when suicide bombers attacked three different churches in Kaduna metropolis and Zaria.

Malam Ribadu who visited the affected churches called for peace and tolerance among the people.

At Shalom Church, Tirkania Kaduna, the former EFCC boss was received by the pastor of the church, Pastor Israel Oyewale.

The former EFCC further proceeded to Zaria where he met with the leaders of the other two bombed churches.

Ribadu was also received by the Catholic Bishop of Zaria Diocese, Bishop George Dodo upon his visit to the church.

While at a similar visit to ECWA Church Wusasa, Malam, Nuhu Ribadu who was received by Rev Nathaniel Waziri sympathized with the church and family of those who lost their lives in the explosion.

He advised Nigerians to unite and fight the common enemies of progress.
