Midfielder John Mikel Obi has expressed excitement at the prospect of his compatriot, Victor Moses teaming up with him at Chelsea.
The Nigerian midfielder posted on his official page in the social media network, Twitter, on Friday that he “can't wait to have Victor Moses join the team.”
Mikel, 24, described his countryman as a “very good player and a good lad too.”
“Can't wait to have victor Moses join d team haha, very good player and a good lad too,” the exact words Mikel posted on Twitter around 5.31pm Nigerian time (6.31pm CAT) on Friday.
Last week, Mikel thumbed up the European champions for taking the direction in “buying more young players.”
“The club are going the right way now buying more young players, trying to develop them for the future,” said Mikel.
Moses is expected to undergo a medical exams in London and his signing will be officially announced on Saturday by the European champions.
Wigan Athletic agreed to accept a fifth bid from Chelsea for their Nigerian player on Thursday ending speculation on the future of Moses.
