The National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) on Thursday in Abuja said the public has nothing to fear about the ongoing “MTN Ulimate Wonder Promo’’.
A statement signed by the commission’s Assistant Director, Media and Public Affairs, Rekiya Atta, assured that the promotion was genuine.
It said:? “the MTN Ultimate Wonder Promo for a brand new aeroplane is genuine and it has been fully regularised with the NLRC’’.
The commission said it was also discharging its mandatory role of ensuring the delivery of all prizes in the promotion, including the aeroplane, in case the winner opted for it.
“In case the winner opts for cash, however, the commission will also ensure full delivery of the cash equivalent to the winner,’’ it said.
NLRC said there was transparency in the process of the promotion, and that it issued the promotion’s permit in favour of Ultima Limited, which was leveraging for MTN.
It assured all interested players in the promotion of protection in line with relevant laws.
“The commission will not allow Nigerians to be defrauded in any way,’’ it stressed.
