One of the robbery victims of last Sunday’s mayhem that left three policemen and seven others dead has given up the ghost at Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the victim, Sikiru Abiodun, died on Monday night during a surgery to remove some of the bullets lodged in his legs and thighs.
The victim was shot around Roundabout Bus stop along with a policeman identified only as Emmanuel who is attached to Area H. The 26-year-old was a graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic.
A policeman is also reported to be in critical condition.
It would be recalled that armed robbers attacked in different parts of Lagos last Sunday, some wearing army uniform and killing three policemen and seven individuals in Agege, Ikeja and Gbagada area of the state
