Iyabo Ojo, Daughter Win BON Awards

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo IS surely a happy mother, as her daughter, Priscilla Ojo won The Child Actress Award Of The Year at the just concluded Best of Nollwood Magazine (BON) awards.

The single mother of two also won The Best Yoruba Actress in a supporting role at the award night held at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Auditorium in Lagos last Sunday?

The young girl was full of smiles as she beat Toyin Adebiyi in Jejere, Sharon in Last flight to Abuja, Deola Faseyi in Married But Living Single and Gbemisola Obadeyi in Amope Alasela to clinge the award.?

Speaking after the award, she said it is her first award and promised to win more. “I am so happy to win this award and want to thank my mother and brother for being there for me. I have been combining acting with my studies and I also thank God? that the producer and director of Jejeloye gave me the opportunity to be part of this movie”, she said.??

The Best of Nollywood, BON awards, which? was held last Sunday at the TBS auditorium in Lagos have come and gone despite the somewhat shoddy preparation for it.

Hosted by actor, Nonso Diobi and for MBGN queen, Sylvia Nduka, the duo did their best to entertain the audience amidst the hiccups encountered at the event, which was organised by Seun Oloketuyi, publisher of Best Of Nollywood Magazine.

The Best Actor in English category was won by Joseph Benjamin, who had won the same? category of award at the Afro-Hollywood award recently. Nse- Ikpe Etim won the best actress in English category.
