The Vice President, Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, yesterday in Kaduna, condoled former Head of State, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) over the death of his eldest daughter, Hajiya Zulaihatu Buhari.
Vice President Sambo who was at Gen Buhari’s Kaduna residence, was accompanied by Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State and his Deputy, Alhaji Ramallan Yero and other top federal and state government functionaries.
VP Sambo prayed Almighty Allah for the repose of the soul of late Zulaihatu as well as grant her Aljanna Rirdausi.
He also prayed Allah to grant General Buhari, his entire family, late Zulaihatu’s husband and the children she left behind, the fortitude to bear the loss.
Responding, General Buhari expressed gratitude to the Vice President for the visit.
The 40 year old Hajiya Zulaihatu Buhari died on Thursday, November 29, 2012, leaving behind her husband, Captain Junaidu Abdullahi and three children, Amira, Mohammad and a new born baby.
