Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) party stalwarts in Rivers State under the aegis of Concerned Elders of PDP, have askes Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State to support the rebuilding of the party in the state. They also urged the governor not feel slighted by the recent court judgment against him as he is a beneficiary of judicial pronouncement.
This is just as PDP Rivers State Legislators Forum have criticised the statement made by a lawmaker, Hon. Asita, that the newly recognised Hon Obuah Amaechi-led Executive had the support of “Oga and Madam at the top” as unbecoming of a lawmaker, adding that Hon. Asita’s criticism of the judiciary was a betrayal of his job as a lawmaker and a lawyer.
The Hon Obuah group and faction members loyal to Rotimi Amaechi have been engaging in war of words since the judgment of Justice Ishak Bello, which removed all members of the Chief Godspower Umejuru – Ake led PDP state executives said to be loyal to the Governor Rotimi.
