A team from the political desk of the United State Consulate visiting Edo has labelled the State as the capital of human trafficking in Nigeria.
This is according to a report by the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
The reports states that the team was hosted by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in the State, Chief Dan Orbih.
He quoted the team as labelling Edo the capital of human trafficking.
However, the US Consulate delegation led by Mr Shashank Iyer, did not speak directly to journalists after the meeting which happened behind closed doors.
Orbih claimed that the team was in the state to see how to help curb human trafficking.
