President Goodluck Jonathan failed to show upAustralia when? as hefailed to appear for two scheduled speeches at the business side of the on going Commonwealth Head of Governments Meeting (CHOGM).
No explanation was given for his absence by the Nigerian delegation at CHOGM. Jonathan was scheduled to woo big-time investors to the nation’s mining sector currently dominated by artisanal miners.
But, his no-show failed to stop Nigeria’s momentum of wooing investors as the Minister of Mines and Steel, Musa Mohammed Sada, took his place and declared Nigeria as “the last frontier” for mineral exploration in West Africa.
Nigeria stormed the CHOGM with a delegation of more than 120 persons, one of the biggest to CHOGM.
