A University don, Professor Femi Shaka, has accused the Federal and State Governments of deceiving the youths of the country with promises of creating job opportunities that will never come.
Shaka, who is a lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Port Harcourt, made the accusation while speaking at an interactive forum to mark the 2012 Martin-Luther King Day, organised by the American Corner in Port Harcourt.
He said; “Nigeria is not building anything for the future. The Federal and State Governments have continued to deceive our youths with unending promises of job creation that will never materialise.”
