The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Adamu, has advised the Federal Government to revise the current e-Wallet fertiliser distribution system to enable peasant farmers have access to the commodity.

?Adamu gave the advice on Monday in Bauchi when he paid Sallah homage on Gov. Isa Yuguda.

He said the system was faulty and needed review to enable farmers to benefit from the commodity.

?Adamu said he had received numerous complaints from farmers over the problem of accessing the commodity, especially farmers in the rural areas.

?He, therefore, called on the government to adopt an alternative method for the distribution of the commodity.

?Responding, Yuguda thanked the emir and other traditional rulers in the emirate for offering prayers that had led to peaceful co-existence of the people.

?Yuguda directed immediate rehabilitation of ?Bauchi Eid ground that was submerged by flood on?Sunday forcing worshippers ?to pray at Bauchi Central Mosque.

?He promised that the state government would tackle the issue of hoodlums, popularly called “Sara Suka”, which has bedevilled the state. (NAN)
