Dialogue, Not Bombs, Will Resolve Differences – Kuta

Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta (PDP, Niger) yesterday declared that political differences in the country could only be resolved through dialogue and not bombing of innocent Nigerians.

Senator Kuta, representing Niger East senatorial district where Suleja falls in, spoke against the backdrop of Sunday morning’s bombing of two churches in Suleja, Niger State.

He condoled with the victims and families of the blasts which occurred at the All African Fellowhip Mission and Faith Mission Church, all located on Church Road area of the town at the weekend.

Addressing newsmen at the scene of the incident yesterday in company of the Acting Governor of the state Ahmed Musa Ibeto, Senator Kuta assured the grieving families that security agencies would nab the perpetrators.
“No words can be enough to describe your grief at a time like this.
“This is one incident too many and I want to assure you that all tiers of government, including the Niger State Government and the National Assembly would be proactive in finding a lasting solution to this unfortunate incident.

“We will find the perpetrators and justice will take its course. As a Senator of the Federal Republic, I firmly believe that we can resolve whatever differences through dialogue. I also know that all faiths preach and practice love, not hatred. No faith would champion unnecessary premeditated taking of lives.”
