Yakowa To Partner KADCCIMA On State Development

Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa of Kaduna State has assured of his administration’s readiness to partner with the Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) to provide the needed development for the state.

?Yakowa stated this in Kaduna yesterday on the occasion of the Membership Forum/send – off for the immediate past president of the Chamber saying that his government will continue to give its support to the organisation with a view to evolving policy that will transform the socio- economic development of the state.
?“Kaduna Chamber of Commerce is a partner in progress with Kaduna State government and we are indeed proud to have them here with such an embodiment of many eminent personalities in our society”.

?Yakowa who was represented by the permanent secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Dr. Ibrahim Balarabe Musa explained that “one of the foremost activity of the Chamber known to all and sundry is the staging of the annual Kaduna International Trade Fair, this Fair over the years has been very successful and has served as a major avenue for the attraction of domestic and foreign investment to not only Kaduna state but the nation in general,” he said.

?Earlier in his remark, the First Deputy President of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce Hon. Abdullahi Muhammad Sani said that the main objective of the Forum was to afford members the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas in respect to their businesses and the businesses environment.

?He called on the state government to revive the quarterly business forum to facilitate the exchange and sharing of ideas between stakeholders for business and the economy of the state to strive.

?Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of paper tiled ‘Corporate Governance and work ethics’ presented by Mr Soji Apampa, chief consultant Convention for Business Integrity (CIB) lagos, presentation of gifts and certificates to the Immediate past President of KADCCIMA Hajiya Saratu Aliyu and eight others as well as presentation of certificates to new members.
