Group Demands Unconditional Release Of Abducted Traffic Officer

A group, the Bonny Graduates Forum (BGF), the umbrella body of all graduates from Bonny local government area of Rivers State, has called for the unconditional and immediate release of the secretary and legal adviser of the Rivers State Traffic Management Agency (TIMARIV), Miss Cleverline Brown who was abducted in Port Harcourt recently.

?Brown was abducted on the night of September 26, 2011 by unknown gunmen who stormed her residence in Port Harcourt, the state capital and took her away to an unknown destination.
?BGF president, Mr. Ipiriala Jumbo, called on security agencies in the state to ensure that the the female traffic official was released without any harm or conditions.

? “We are asking that she should be released immediately, unconditionally and unharmed. We are also calling on the security agencies to do all they can within their power to ensure that Barrister Brown, who was abducted two days ago around her house in Port Harcourt, is released without conditions and safely”, Jumbo said

? He expressed regret that ugly incidents such as kidnapping were still being perpetrated in the State, pointing out that the group strongly condemns all acts of criminality.?
