Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has promised to employed about 1,450, graduates from across the state.????
The governor gave this indication, following reports of disturbances in Dukku local government by some youths in the area. This was even as he where he has threatened to deploy military personnel to that area and to do the same to any place where the youths were found to be restive.??
While receiving the delegation of Dukku local Government Area on a solidarity visit, Governor Dankwambo affirmed that his administration has a laudable welfare scheme for the unemployed 1,450 tertiary institution graduate youths in the state, most of whom are from Dukku LG.??
He added that it would be very difficult for government to absorb them into the state civil service system hence it would group them and engage them in business venture.??
Dankwambo reminded them that Dukku water works was equally in his administration’s agenda while he directed the state Ministry of Water resources to access the situation with the aim of finding a lasting solution.?
Earlier, the Caretaker of Dukku local Government Area, Alhaji Damina Sardauna appreciated the efforts of the Governor Dankwambo since his assumption of power as Governor in Gombe State. ?
