The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State over the weekend decried the way residents of the southern Kaduna are being molested over an unapproved curfew by soldiers drafted to that area.
The Christian umbrella body of the area said that soldiers drafted to secure the area were brutalising the community and had placed a 8pm-till dawn curfew in most of the Southern parts the state during which they subject all persons to very humiliating treatment, including forcing them to sit in the mud for hours fr no good cause.
Addressing newsmen in Kwoi, the headquarters of Jaba LGA, the local government CAN chairman, Rev. Gambo Na’Allah, represented by the? Secretary of CAN, Rev. Aminu Weyham, also said that the soldier had become a law unto themselves.
