Unknown gunmen in the early hours of Friday attacked Fadiya Village, area of Zangon Kataf local government in Kaduna State and injured two persons.
The two persons, Julius Mathew aged 16 and Yohanna Emmanuel who were njured from the gunshots, LEADERSHIP SUNDAY? gathered, are now at Jos University Teaching Hospitals, Plateau State for medical attention.
According one of the Victims, Julius Mathew who spoke to LEADERSHIPSUNDAY while at Bode Medical centre, Zonkwa shortly before they were moved to Jos “We were sitting by the roadside, then we had a gunshot from the nowhere and before I could hide inside the bush, they shot me on one of my legs from there I manage to hide myself inside the bush.”
According to him, “after the first attack, the security operatives came, and? when the attackers noticed that the security patrol team had left, they came back for the second time and shot Yohanna Emmanuel.”
