Kogi Poll: Ocholi Promises To Shock PDP

The standard bearer of the Congress for Progressive Change(CPC), in Kogi State, Chief James Ocholi-SAN has promised to give the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) a shock treatment in the forthcoming gubernatorial poll.
He expressed his? confidence that just like what happened in 2003, the ruling party would be dislodged in the forthcoming governorship election.
Addressing party supporters in Mopa, headquarters of Mopa/Muro Local Government, in the western flank of the state, Chief Ocholi posited that time has come for a change, and the issue? of incumbency factor for? the party in power was irrelevant.
He, therefore, charged the people of Okunland to take the lead, just as they demonstrated in the April election and described them as highly enlightened people.
He added that since the change they all made in 2003 did not take us anywhere, it has become imperative for them to make another change, so as to secure the future of the state.
Ocholi further enjoined them to vote intelligently, to make change happen as they did before and stressed that if they made up their minds, the change would come.
He decried the deplorable condition of the only federal road that passes through the community and promised to rehabilitate it in view of its strategic importance to the people of the area in particular and the entire people of the state in general.
