I Almost Died In NDLEA Custody — Baba Suwe

A popular Nollywood actor,? Mr.? Babatunde Omidina (a k a Baba Suwe),? who was finally released by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)? has recounted his ordeals in the hands of the agency, saying that he was nearly sent to his early grave through the treatment meted out to him during the 24 days he spent in their custody.

?Baba Suwe disclosed this? during a press conference yesterday in Lagos with his two lawyers; Mr. Bamidele Aturu? and Mr Adindu Ogwuzor. The actor noted that he was chained like a criminal even before he was subjected to all forms of humiliation in the cause of searching for alleged illicit drug in his bowels.

?The humorous actor,? who looked fatigued and worn out, said that his arrest was premeditated? by the power that be on the grounds that immediately he was sited at the airport, a lady told him that he should report to the NDLEA office , and before? he was placed in front of a scanner, he was chained in the legs like a confirmed criminal.
