Ladoja Berates Oyelese Over Planned Return To PDP

Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has reminded a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party? (PDP) and former Minister for Special Duties, Elder Wole Oyelese,? that he was not in a position to speak for the Party regarding conditions for his (Ladoja’s) possible return to the party.

Ladoja left the PDP prior to the 2011 general election for the Accord Party? on which platform unsuccessfully sought to return to Agodi Government House which he left in 2007.

Emissaries from the PDP have been meeting with the former State Governor who has maintained that some perceived injustices? meted out to the state by the party be redressed before he would consider a return to its fold.

Reacting to Ladoja’s position, Oyelese who said that Ladoja was overestimating his political worth and pointed out that he (Ladoja) was the cause of the misfortune that befell the PDP in Oyo State owing to his inability to manage the late Chief Lamidi Adedibu.

However, the former governor in a post on his page in a social web blog, described Oyelese’s outburst as? laughable? and a ploy? to appease former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
