Dabo Adzuana Cautions el-Rufai Against Sedition

Chairman, Move Nigeria Project and the Benue Elders Forum, Dr. Godwin Dabo Adzuana, has warned former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Nasir el-Rufai, to stop inciting rebellion among the populace against the presidency.
?

Speaking during a press briefing at his Abuja office yesterday, Dabo Adzuana remarked that rather than wage war against the country’s leadership, he stated that el-Rufai should be more sincere in his speeches, and not incite the people to rebellion by availing them with false information.
?

But el-Rufai, in response to Adabo Adzuana’s comments, told LEADERSHIP that the best answer to a political jobber and contractor was silence.
?

“I don’t really respond to a political contractor, a man who has made a career out of being the tool of any government in power. He has a lot of needs, so he should go to his masters and collect more and say further whatever he wants to say,” the former FCT minister said.
?

Commenting on why he was taking up issues with el-Rufai, Daboh said: “Since his arraignment for the mode of appropriation of land for himself, friends and family members during his tenure as the minister of the FCT, he had been all over the media, granting interviews and making inflammatory statements to incite the people.

Now, only those of us who are in the know are aware that most of the things he writes and says are born of sedition, malice and diversionary tactics”.
?

Dabo Adzuana also described el-Rufai’s latest comments as “the words of a man who is sinking and he has to cling to anything to stay afloat.”
