The federal government and state governments have been called upon to utilise all the available resources at their disposal for the provision of security of life and property rather than expend them on unnecessary projects.
The minority leader, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Baba Abubakar Suleiman, who made this call while speaking to newsmen, noted that if the current level of insecurity in the country is not addressed, the country will not record any meaningful development.
He said that Nigerians live in fear and noted that the present method applied by the government to tackle the problem was not yielding the required results. He urged government at all levels to review their policies in order to address the problem.
