The apex body of pen pushers in the country, the Nigerian Union? of? Journalists, NUJ, has nominated the Ondo State governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko as the beneficiary of its 2011 Governor of the year award In a statement announcing the Governor as the body’s choice for the prestigious award, the National Secretary of the body, Shuaibu Usman Leman, said that the nomination was arrived at after a careful consideration of governor Mimiko’s contributions to the development of the nation in the past years.
The award is expected to be conferred on the Sunshine State’s helmsman in December.
