The Honourable Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, has promised to offer scholarship to two children who were made orphans by the Madalla Christmas bomb blast in Niger State.
?The children who will be the beneficiaries of the Minister’s grace are Nancy Madueke and Chinedu.
He made this pledge when he visited the scene of the bomb blast for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation as well as to commiserate with the relations of victims of the bomb attack at St Theresa’s Catholic church, Madalla.
Speaking to journalists in his hometown, Ugbokolo, Benue State, yesterday, the Minister reiterated his promise to sponsor these two children to at least a secondary school level. Moro explained that his gesture was personal and warned against any misinterpretation by the press.
