Insecurity: Gov Aliyu Asks Security Agents To Be Proactive

The Governor of Niger state, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu has urged security agencies and the people to be more proactive in order to overcome the problems of insecurity in the country.

Governor Aliyu told members of the senior course 36, Syndicate 6 of the Command and Staff College Jaji, who paid him a courtesy call at Government House yesterday that the security problems of the country required a collective effort.

“ We should all be security conscious, things we take for granted should now be looked at more critically” Aliyu said, while noting that the security challenges facing the country was capable of discouraging any serious investment to the country.

The Governor stressed that the situation would not encourage any local investor and would discouraged foreign investors more, saying that no investor would like to invest their money in an environment that was not safe and conducive.
