A new joint security outfit named Operation Thunder has been launched in Akwa Ibom state.
Performing the ceremony yesterday at the operational base of the squad in Uruan local government area, Governor Godswill Akpabio said the action was a demonstration of his administration resolve to make the state safer.
The new security joint task force comprises men drawn from the army Navy and Air force, who has undergone intensive training and combat readiness on anti-crime such as kidnapping and other forms of counter terrorism.
Addressing? the new team of the security outfit, Governor Akpabio warned?? criminal’s in the state who?? involve in creating insecurity and breaking of law to relocate adding? that? they would never have peace so long as thee continue in their nefarious act.
