CPC Faults Niger Over Bond Projects

The Niger State Chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Umar Shuaibu? has chided the Niger State government on its N9 billion bond projects saying that the initial N6 billion bond taken by the state government was not properly accounted for.

Shuaibu who stated this in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday in Minna on the heels of the release of N2.8 billion mobilization fee to various contractors awarded road contracts in the N9 billion bond projects, stated that most of the projects in the N6 billion bond projects earlier taken by the government was shrouded with bogus? allocations in the state appropriation bill.?

“The attention of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) is drawn to the recent announcement for the commencement of disbursement of N2.8 billion mobilization fees from the new N9 billion bond sourced by the Niger State Government.
