Yuguda Charges Policy Makers To Shun Corruption

Bauchi State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, has charged top government officials and policy makers in the State to shun all forms of corruption which he described as the major? militating factor against? development in the State.

The Governor gave the charge during the opening ceremony of a two day workshop for? permanent secretaries and directors on “Leadership Development”, held at Yankari Game Reserve, Bauchi.

He said that the aim of the workshop was to train the participants on how to improve on the management of the State’s resources? for? development.

Yuguda who was represented by the Head of Service(HOS), Mr Abdon Dalla Gin explained that his administration had from inception introduced training and re-training programme for all? categories of civil servants with a view to repositioning the entire management system, and added that government had also introduced professional allowances to civil servants in order to motivate them and enhance their performance.?

He urged? top government officials to ensure accountability and prudence in the management of resources.
